The Vossi Bop that is.
"My bruddas don't dab, we just Vossi bop. I tell your girl to link me at the coffee shop. Gettin' freaky in the sheets, we're takin' body shots. Then I finish with a facial just to top it off."
We don't know about you but we are absolutely thrilled to have some new music from Stormzy. The South London grime rapper has been quiet for far too long since his solo debut album, Gang Signs & Prayers (or GSAP). The album was phenomenal, winning Stormzy two Brit awards last year (British Male Solo Artist and British Album of the Year). He is now set to headline the Glastonbury Festival this year, and if you're anything like us, we can't wait! After that its over to Ibiza Rocks for his sold out #Merky Festival.
Although he's been missing from the music scene for a while, Stormzy has been very busy! Last year he launched 'The Stormzy Scholarship' which is set to fund two black students at Cambridge every year. He also launched his own book, 'Rise Up: The Merky Story so Far', and has inspired other to write in partnership with Penguin Books to form the publishing initiative, ' #Merky Books.
We look forward to what he has up his sleeve next, but for now, let's just enjoy the Vossi Bop music video, directed by Henry Scholfield, which features some iconic scenes, and people. How many can you spot?
